Adult size – 13-25 mm  

Appearance – Long, slender, flatten, brown to silvery body with tapered end.

Behavior – Agile runner, like to hide in dark place. Can live for 2 to 8 years and reproduce frequently. 

Habitat – Thrive in humid and moist environment, feed on polysaccharides (starch & cellulose) such as book glue, carpet fibers, household glue, paint, fabrics, and even furniture.
